Transformation

To be honest transformation is the hardest part of living, when a person is so used to being in a certain environment it is hard for that person to adjust their attitudes and way of living. The hardest part to change is a person’s way of thinking; we seem to be so set in our way, almost stubborn at times. The hardest people to change are older men; women on the other hand are more open to accepting and trying new things and new ways of thinking and doing things, while men are more set in their ways and refuse to change their views or ways of doing things. When a person does not welcome new ideologies they limit their own personal growth.

Let’s be honest if it weren’t for peoples’ ability to accept changes, African-Americans would still be slaves, not a good thing at all right. Before we close our eyes to change have that little thought in mind. We all have the ability to make the best choices. At the same time there are a lot of negative ideas going on in the world as well. The best thing we can do is to respect other cultures and accept changes, the problem we have now days is learn about each other’s cultures and differences. Differences are what make us unique.

We all are aware how difficult it is to see someone of another culture or religion as equals, it is not impossible at all if a person is actually willing to make those changes. It’s very easy to do, all it takes is to have an open mind, most importantly just go to the person and just have a simple conversation with someone of another culture, and you will see that we may not be all that different at all. Prejudice and fear are the main problems we are having when it comes to personal growth, we tend to stick to our own kind and become very hesitant on transforming into a better person.

This quote is from the late great Michael Jackson “If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and make a change”. Changes start within; let’s give each other a chance.
